From the moment I set out to create this artwork, I envisioned an atmospheric scene that would evoke the calmness and splendor of nature at dawn. Rich hues of orange, purple, and blue pour over the horizon, gently reflecting on the tranquil waters below. As you look deeper into the composition, you’ll notice dark, brushy trees and foliage flanking either side of the water, framing the scene in natural beauty and peacefulness. The drama unfolds in the sky above, with clouds adding a layer of mystery as they partially obscure the vivid sunrise.

The inspiration for this painting struck me during a quiet morning in the salt marsh, where I was captivated by the intricate designs nature crafts at sunrise. This artwork is a homage to that serene moment of discovery and admiration. The tranquil colors and reflections became a fertile ground for my imagination, allowing me to transcribe the beauty and calmness I observed.

Unique to this creation was my approach to transparency within the watercolor medium. I wanted to achieve a delicate balance between vibrant colors and subtle textures, allowing the scene to breathe life.
